HideMy.name sells time, not accounts. Each purchase produces an access code that behaves like a prepaid voucher: it holds the plan length you paid for and starts counting only when you first enter it.
Codes can be stored without a time limit, bought several at once and redeemed in any of the provider's apps, including codes bought inside the iOS app. An activated code cannot be extended, but it can be exchanged for a longer one for an additional fee.
How Does a HideMy.name Voucher Code Work?
A HideMy.name Voucher Code is the access code you receive after buying a plan through our link. It works like prepaid credit: it stores the term you paid for and starts counting only when you first enter it in an app. You redeem it on any of the provider's apps, with no account needed.
| Voucher detail | How it works |
|---|---|
| Delivery | Sent to the email you enter at checkout |
| Validity before use | No limit on keeping an unused code |
| Start of time | First entry in an app or on the site |
| Extension | Not possible once activated |
| Upgrade | Exchange for a longer code for a fee |
Why is there no account?
The store says it rejected registration and personal accounts so it does not need to store personal information. The code replaces a login entirely, so keep the email safe and consider saving a copy of the code somewhere secure, such as a password manager.
Does the store offer gift cards?
The official site does not describe gift cards. What you purchase is an access code sent to the email address you enter at checkout.
Where is the code valid?
In any of the provider's apps for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux, and in router setups covered by the help guides. A router setup protects devices without their own app, such as consoles and smart TVs.
How Do You Redeem a HideMy.name Voucher Code?
Redemption takes a minute once the app is installed. These are the steps the homepage describes for every platform.
- Find the access code in the purchase email.
- Install the app for your device.
- Open the app and enter the code.
- Choose a server automatically or by country.
- Press Connect to start protected browsing.
What happens at the moment of redemption?
The countdown begins and runs without stopping until the term ends. Make sure you are ready to use the service before you enter a new code, especially if you are holding a long-term code bought in advance.
Can you redeem one code on several devices?
Yes. Up to five devices can use the same code simultaneously, each on a different server, as the FAQ explains.
What if the app does not accept the code?
Check that you copied it fully from the email, then contact support through online chat. The team can help by remote desktop if needed and, if the problem cannot be solved, the store says it will cancel and refund.
How Can You Manage Several Voucher Codes?
Because codes hold value until first use, some buyers plan ahead. The pricing FAQ supports this with clear rules.
- You can buy several access codes at once.
- Unused codes can be kept for as long as you like.
- An activated code cannot be extended.
- A new code continues the service after expiry.
- Codes can be swapped for longer terms for a fee.
How do you avoid overlapping days?
Enter a new code only when the current one expires. Activating early starts the second countdown while the first still runs, wasting paid time. A simple calendar reminder for the end date avoids this.
Can you buy codes for later use?
Yes. The pricing FAQ says you can buy several codes in advance and use them whenever you want, which suits anyone planning a long stretch of coverage.
Do iOS purchases work elsewhere?
Yes. The checkout page says you can pay inside the iOS app through the App Store and use the received code in any of the provider's applications.
Can you check a code's status?
The site footer links to a Check account page alongside the FAQ and support links. Keep every purchase email labelled with its plan length so you always know which code to enter next.
What Should You Know Before Buying Voucher Codes?
A few store rules affect prepaid codes in particular. Keep them in mind before buying several at once.
| Rule | What it means for codes |
|---|---|
| 30-day guarantee | Counts from purchase, not activation |
| One refund | The guarantee can be used once per user |
| Traffic limit | Reason-free refund needs 5 GB or less |
| Renewal | Checkout terms describe automatic renewal |
Does the refund window wait for redemption?
No. It counts from the purchase date, so a code stored for months may fall outside the 30-day window by the time you redeem it.
Which plan length suits a stored code?
Longer terms carry bigger savings, up to 75% on five years, so a stored long-term code gives the lowest monthly cost when you finally start it. If you are unsure, test the free 24-hour trial before committing.
How did we prepare this guide?
From the official pricing FAQ, checkout terms and money-back guarantee in October 2026. Our link opens the official site, and the store sets every rule. Use the VPN in line with local laws.
